Public Announcement

March 24, 2020

Port Moresby, 24 March 2020: To all our partners and the general public!

As of today (24 March 2020), the majority of our staff will be telecommuting from home following the Government’s announcement on a 14-day shutdown as precautionary measure in light of the 1st case of COVID-19 confirmed in the country.

Essential staff will remain in the office though it will remain closed for public visitors. The Country Office continues to deliver UNDP’s programmes and projects and also supports preparedness and response efforts of the government. During the shutdown period, we will ensure full business continuity through online meetings as face-to-face meetings and visits to the UNDP Office are suspended until 06th April 2020.

Stay safe everyone!
